I put out a general bio on AP credit. Since I plan on getting the MCAT, I thought it would be a good idea to read a college-level general biology textbook in the summer. The people in my college Biology 8th edition used by Solomon Berg and Martin. I looked at an older edition and it really does not seem too great writing. Anyone have any suggestions? I realize Biology by Campbell are popular, and that one I read in high school, but this book as deep as other bio lessons in college?

The cane toad was introduced to eradicate an invasive species. However, it has become invasive, thus altering the biodiversity. The introduction of the cane toad has the potential to cause more than a disturbance in biodiversity than the targeted species did.

Effects on Future With more research and more scientific experiments, biological pest may potentially play a major role in future pest prevention. Clearly, biological control is used in society today, however, it could someday eliminate the use of pesticides and herbicides, thus indirectly increasing the amount of biodiversity. Since biological control can potentially have a huge amount of economic, if found to be successful, research and field work is continuing to increase. By increasing knowledge of biological control of more and more people, many successful new biological control may come in the future. It can remove the overuse of chemicals, return to indirectly increasing biodiversity. Biodiversity will increase because of untargeted species exterminated chemicals does not happen.
